Home Exercise saves Time and Money

I have often been asked whether it is better to exercise at home or in a gym and of course there is no one correct answer; it is purely a matter of personal preference based on what type of environment you want to be in and how you want to accomplish the fitness goals in your life.

Personally I prefer to exercise at home as it has many advantages for me. Here are some of the reasons why I chose to workout at home and you might identify with them too.

Cost

Gym membership can be quite expensive and may include other things that I don’t need such as access to the swimming pool or child care. Although there can be an initial outlay for some exercise equipment it will last many years. I found a great range at Trojan Fitness.  I don’t have to spend a lot of money on the latest workout gear to keep up with the fashion trends, I can wear whatever I want. With the high fuel prices today I can also save money on petrol as well as the wear and tear on my vehicle by not having to drive to the gym each day.

Time

I can do my workout in my own time and easily fit it around work and other family and social commitments. I don’t have to hang around waiting for a piece of equipment to become free nor do I have to worry about speeding up to make way for fellow exercisers.

Cleanliness

At the gym sometimes people don’t wipe down the machines after use, sweaty machines are gross. At home I know my equipment and the shower is spotless.

Confidence

At home I don’t feel conscious of my appearance and can relax knowing that no one is watching and judging me and can really focus on my workout.

Overall I enjoy working out at home and with the help of Trojan Fitness I have found it to be far more effective.
